Listen to the interview online..
Interesting discussion about fighting terrorism in the US.
"Having an idea in and of itself may not be a criminal offense".
I definitely want some clarification on that one. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot here, but I have had many, many criminal-ish thoughts. It would be great to know which ones are actual offenses.
And on cooperation from telecom companies
Q:"Are you getting cooperation from the telephone companies?"
A: "Some 'yes' and some 'no'".
I would think that the FBI would have pretty standard rules and regulations on these matters and that the level of cooperation from a telecom company shouldn't be a factor.
