One of our customers is attempting to go 100% open source, which factored heavily in their choice of WiKID for two-factor authentication. They liked our "appliance in an ISO" model, but were not so fond of our use of Java :)

Today it was revealed that selected bloggers that include positive mentions of WiKID Systems' two-factor authentication system were promised that could potentially receive a new-to-them laptop for their efforts. The laptops were described as Dell Latitude CPx with a screaming fast in-its-day P11600mhxz chip that are currently stacked unused in the closet and a dual-boot Thinkpad T23 with a persnickity display and built-in Snarkiness (TM) for the best blogging experience.

We have crossed the 20,000 download threshold on Sourceforge.net.

The WiKID Strong Authentication System - Community Edition is #38 in the 50 Must-Have Open Source Tools for Security.

WiKID-breaks-8-000-downloads-on-Sourceforge.net

Sometime yesteday we surpassed 8,000 downloads of the open source version of our two-factor authentication system on Sourceforge. That is pretty exciting.
