Oracle bought Thor, which I thought was very interesting. As Pete Lindstrom pointed out, it was a busy week for security-related acquisitions. This post at Digital ID World (hat tip to Venture Chronicles sums up my thoughts. I wonder if Oracle will go after RSA? I have my doubts. Oracle is just really going after Sun, IBM, etc.popularity-and-server-problems

Apologies to anyone who tried to reach our server this weekend. We had an unexpected surge in interest in downloading the server. We have moved the non-torrent downloads to ftp and will be adding bandwidth over time. In the meantime, please use the torrent!!

Greetings everyone. Just wanted to let you know that we have been working on a Plone upgrade for the website. I know it doesn't look at that different, but it is. At least based on the amount of work it took to upgrade :). The Blog is now 'inside' of plone, which is nice.

WiKID got a nice review over at the Coffee Corner. I hope they do test the WiKID server on your home network. That is exactly the scenario we envisioned when we released the open source version. No reason why home users shouldn't be able to have strong authentication. I do want tot try to clarify some of the issues, if I understand them correctly:thanksgiving

It will probably be a little quiet around here for the rest of the week as it's the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. I'll still be checking my e-mail via the blackberry, of course :). Thanks to all who have made this a great year for WiKID.
