WiKID Systems, Inc. (http://www.wikidsystems.com) is proud to announce that NopSec, Inc. has chosen to deploy the WiKID Strong Authentication System as a key part of the security around their new SaaS Vulnerability Risk Management system (VRM). WiKID will be providing two-factor authentication for all users of NopSec's VRM solution.
NopSec VRM automates the life cycle of network auditing and vulnerability management across the enterprise, including network discovery and mapping, asset prioritization, vulnerability assessment reporting and charting, elimination of virtually all false positives, remediation tracking and ticketing system according to business risk.
NopSec will be using WiKID's unique HTML5 software token allowing a seamless integration with their web-based application. Users will also be able to use WiKID's other token clients which run on Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhones, J2ME, Blackberry and Android devices.
Hosting such a service externally requires keen control over who uses it, thus NopSec chose WiKID for strong authentication. WiKID is particularly well-suited to service-based offerings:
Flexible licensing allows you to start small and grow
Optional mutual htttps authentication adds a layer of protection for web-apps
Each user can have more than one token across multiple devices
Full multi-tenancy is supported, completely separating clients on a single server
“In designing this SaaS solution based in the cloud, one of our primary concerns is protecting customer information. That's why we partnered with WiKID Systems to deploy their two-factor authentication system. It keeps the customer at ease in terms of data protection and NopSec comfortable in terms of deployment efforts” said NopSec CTO Michelangelo Sidagni.
“Cloud-based services are a double-edged sword, they require more security but if done right, they can provide more security. It's great to see NopSec on the leading edge of providing a great service with security baked in from the start,” Stated WiKID CEO Nick Owen.
NopSec's VRM solution is available immediately from http://www.nopsec.com.
