leo123hello13:25
nowenhi13:26
leo123do you have any documentation about vmware view 5.1 ... trying to get the radius working with wikid..13:26
leo123or is it just not possible ? ;)13:27
nowenI'm looking at that now.  View supports radius, so it should be simple13:27
nowenhttp://blogs.vmware.com/techpubs/2012/06/radius-authentication-for-vmware-view.html13:28
leo123i did already the setup on view side13:29
nowenhave you set up a WiKID server yet?13:29
leo123I have alway an "access denied"13:29
leo123yep13:29
nowenyou set the view as a network client?13:30
leo123exactly13:30
nowenand restarted the wikid service?13:30
nowenwhat version of WiKID?13:30
leo1233.5.013:30
nowenand the b####?13:30
leo123b137313:31
nowenis that that version you started with or did you upgrade?13:31
leo123I start straight with this one13:31
nowenok13:31
nowena few things to do13:32
nowenon the WiKID server, set logging to debug: http://www.wikidsystems.com/support/wikid-support-center/troubleshooting-faq/how-can-i-set-radius-logging-to-debug-how-can-i-see-if-wikid-is-getting-the-radius-requests13:32
nowenthen on the terminal of wikid, run 'tcpdump port radius'13:32
nowenthen try to authenticate again13:33
leo123ok thanks13:33
leo123wow..I should have missed a reboot .. sry .. it's working now.. thanks..great support !13:43
nowenawesome13:44
nowenwell, you have made a lot of progress in a very short time13:44
leo123I trained with some other products the lasts days ;) I start to get the thing :D13:45
nowenhehe13:45
nowenwell, we also have an overview on setting up 2FA on your network if you want to see that13:46
nowenwill you run the auth through AD? or straight to the 2FA server?13:46
leo123hmm .. i just need it for my user to connect on vmware view when they are in the wild world ... for the moment I didn't connet to AD13:47
leo123I will have a few user only .. there is maybe no need to connect to AD .. but if you can point me to the doc for that, I may try13:49
leo123ha .. one more question13:50
nowenhttp://www.wikidsystems.com/learn-more/two-factor-authentication-white-papers13:50
leo123my user will use the mobile app.. I need the enter the domain, I have no choice to have my wikid accessible from internet right ?13:53
nowenyes, the tokens talk to the server over port 80 using public key encryption.  you can nat the server and you can also proxy the requests if you like13:54
leo123yea.. i was reading that here : http://www.wikidsystems.com/support/wikid-support-center/troubleshooting-faq/what-ports-are-needed-for-wikid-how-do-i-know-if-the-listener-running-on-the-server13:55
leo123Thank you very much for the talk :) see you13:55
leo123that's it for now :)13:55
nowenok ;-)13:55
