nowenhow's it going?17:35
prowlahwell i havent been able to work on this for a little while... (as it will cut some of our developers off of the vpn which they need)17:35
prowlahbut.. need to get it working today17:35
nowenhehe17:35
nowenok17:35
nowentell me your set up again?17:36
prowlahredhat / openvpnas / wikid17:36
nowenok, no AD in the middle?17:36
prowlahi run linux on desktop and it all works just fine for me.. but im unable to get any windows machine to work in it17:36
prowlahnothing else in the middle17:36
nowenunable to get windows to run the token or get a vpn tunnel?17:37
prowlahit will run the token but fail to login17:37
nowenwhat do the WiKIDAdmin logs say?17:37
prowlahim just about to reproduce again today, but what was happening looked like wikid sent a good auth message back to ovpn17:38
prowlahbut the client would get refused17:38
nowenhmm17:40
nowenso, the error msg should be in openvpn17:40
prowlahyeah.. need a few mins, throwing everyone off vpn now..17:40
jrdxIn the mean time: I just wanted to drop off a quick "nice to have" feature request. We currently use the iOS WikID soft clients in conjunction with the iOS F5 VPN clients. It'd be nice to be able to copy the password in WiKID (along the lines of Google Authenticator) so that it can be copied into the the F5 client. It's not a big deal to temporarily remember then type 6 digits... but copy/paste would be a little easier/quicker.17:41
nowenI'll create a feature request for it17:43
jrdxAwesome. Other than that, WiKID's been working really well for us since we put in a few months ago. Thanks!17:43
nowena few months ago? have you paid us yet? :-)17:44
prowlahnowen: okay.. confirmed it still works for me and my linux client17:44
jrdx(ha, yeah... bought and paid for it around last April-ish... with another purchase coming your way soon it looks like)17:46
nowenlol.  ok. I don't keep track of that too closely17:47
nowenso, you're using both openvpn and an f5?17:48
jrdxThat to me or prowlah?17:49
nowenoops. I got confused17:49
jrdxYeah, sorry. I'll get out of your hair and let you guys troubleshoot. Keep up the good work!17:50

nowenok.17:59
prowlahgot one.. my assistant (so to speak) is trying it out now, but18:38
prowlahi just tried on a pc here that i was able to use for a few mins.. and it worked/connected fine18:38
nowenI fixed it18:38
prowlahthe only difference between that and when it was tried previously that i know of is  that i made this test user an admin in ovpn18:38
prowlahhaha yeah i hope so :)18:38
prowlahyou might just have..18:56
prowlahsecond test worked18:56
nowenlol18:56
prowlahwithout admin flag18:56
prowlahtrying it without the autologin flag18:56
prowlahand.. error19:07
prowlahit looks like i have to give them the autologin flag in ovpn19:07
nowenno idea what that means19:07
prowlahits in the openvpn user permissions19:07
prowlahwhether or not to allow them to autologin.. which basically meant they didnt have to enter a pw every time19:07
prowlahbut wikid pretty much forces that anyway, so it shouldnt matter here19:08
nowenhmm, I wonder if it is some session management like a web page19:10
prowlahi think thats likely19:14
prowlahwhat are our limitations before purchasing?19:14
prowlah(purchasing ill find out about today @ 4 btw)19:14
nowennone19:14
nowenyou going to buy online?19:27
prowlahseems like the easiest way?19:32
nowenyeah, online is easiest19:33
landonixI'm about to do that in the next week or so. =)19:39
nowensweet!19:50
nowenI'm heading out soonish  and will be traveling tomorrow, so get your questions in now ;)19:52
nowenlandonix: you got everything working?19:54
landonixthe users are the test19:55
nowenhow are you registering them?19:56
prowlahnowen: i have some users who didnt get working before.. and need to re-register them, whats the easiest way to remove the previous token client saved config?20:02
nowenfrom the server or their PC?20:03
prowlahfrom their pc20:03
prowlahalready removed from server20:03
nowenthey can just delete the domain in the token.20:03
prowlahtheyre on windows20:03
nowenit is one of the menu items under "actions"20:03
prowlahhow about if one cant get that far because it wants a passphrase?20:03
nowenif the enter the wrong or blank passphrase 5 times, the option to delete the whole token should come up20:04
nowenthe data is stored in a file called WiKIDToken.wkd if they want to delete that20:04
prowlahpassing that along.. thanks :)20:05
nowennp20:05
