I'm always explaining what my company does to laymen and to some technical peoptle who look confused when I say that that WiKID does two-factor authentication. However, I am surprised that a security researcher and Trend Micro would not know what two-factor authentication is.

A botnet is supposedly attempting to brute force attack Ebay's password system according to Alladin Systems. There is no response from Ebay about the matter yet. Does that mean they have been unsuccessful? I would think that a brute force attack on passwords would result in a lot of users being disabled, which we would have heard about by now.
