PCI hullabaloo

So there's been a whole lot of hullabaloo on the Internet and in twitterville about PCI because of the Savvis lawsuit.

Then today, lo and behold, Mastercard says that Level 2 merchants will now have to have onsite assessments instead of just self-assessments.   This development is quite interesting.  While all the auditors are worried about being sued by the merchants, Mastercard has dramatically increased their market. Interesting stuff.
